2014 Designing the Parks Team

Andre Thomas is from Detroit and studying Architecture at Howard University in Washington, DC. He came to us via the NPS Academy and will participate in CRDIP. During his 10-week summer internship, Andre will be working on cultural landscape inventories in the Boston area and a site map for the Harriet Tubman National Monument.

Sara Sanchez is from Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech this spring with a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture. She will also participate in the CRDIP, and will be with us for a 28-week internship. Sara will be working on a Treatment Implementation Plan for Appomattox Court House National Historical Park.

Ashley Braquet is from Louisiana and graduated this spring from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Landscape Architecture. During her 28-week internship, Ashley will be working on cultural landscape inventories at the Zane Grey Museum in the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, Minute Man National Historical Park, Gettysburg National Military Park, and Salem National Maritime Historic Site.

Grace Ng is from New York and is graduating this spring from the City College of New York with a Masters of Landscape Architecture. Grace is returning to our office–last summer she served as the Team Leader for the very successful Designing the Parks Summer Internship Program.  In her 28-week internship, Grace will  be working on cultural landscape documentation for First State National Monument.
