Independence Day in Boston!

Happy Monday, and hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend! This was my 2nd Independence Day in Boston – and the fireworks show did not disappoint. A few of us went down to the Cambridge side of the Esplanade and caught the amazing fireworks display on Thursday – absolutely mesmerizing. We also got caught in the torrential downpour at the end of the show – it was hilarious to see everyone scatter and hear the laughs of delight as people ran for cover from the massive raindrops.

Last week was a productive week in the office – I primarily spent my time mapping the existing conditions of the Woodlawn Tract in AutoCad Map. It’s been a great exercise – studying and tracing the landscape on such a detailed scale. The mapping is definitely giving me a finer grain understanding of the site. Stay tuned for another update on Friday.
